Seeing the Face of Jesus

Imagine going to work everyday and being greeted by Jesus. That is what I experience every day as the principal of Holy Cross Catholic school. I see the face of Jesus in the students, parents, teachers and staff of this wonderful community. Being the principal of a Catholic school is a not a job, it is a vocation.

Genesis 1:27 say “God created man in his own image.” All people, black or white, Hispanic or non-Hispanic, students with vision imparities and students with 20/20 vision, students identified as gifted and students with unique learning challenges, students who can walk into school and students who need wheelchair assistance, all are created in His image. Catholic schools welcome and love all students. At Holy Cross Catholic School we endeavor to serve all who desire a Catholic education.

Only in its infant stage, EMBRACE has already made an impact on Catholic schools. The resource room is a valuable tool for teachers and principals. The opportunity for grants from EMBRACE that can assists schools in providing unique learners with an education they deserve. Students in Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas are blessed to have EMBRACE on the team!
