Community Information Night: Financial Security for a Loved One with Special Needs
Time & Location
About The Event
The Office of Special Needs Ministry for the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas and EMBRACE are co-sponsoring a workshop to educate parents/guardians with a loved one with special needs on how to prepare for two generations of financial security. The workshop will show attendees how to build a team and cover the key aspects for a special needs plan. We will discuss a 5290ABLE account vs. a Special Needs Trust and why they are BOTH important. Speakers will be Casey Conneally, Attorney as well as Kacy Seitz and Debbie Niemann from Northwestern Mutual. All 3 are parents of a special needs child. Evening will begin with a short social time followed by the presentation along with the opportunity to ask questions. Childcare (with faith-based activities) will be available. It's never too early to make plans for our loved ones! Join Us!
Community Information Nights are educational events held at various parish communities throughout the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. These events give parents, teachers and school communities the opportunity to learn more about a topic of interest. All are welcome to attend and childcare is provided!
